Zendesk will perform scheduled maintenance which will impact HTTP queries for all customers on the Custom Resources Limited Availability on all Pods on Tuesday, October 9 between the hours of 01:00 PM - 4:00 PM PDT / 11:00 PM - 02:00 AM UTC (October 10).
START: 1:00 PM PDT / 11:00 PM UTC
END: 4:00 PM PDT / 02:00 UTC (Oct 10)
Customers affected: All Custom Resources Limited Availability customers on all pods.
Custom Resources Limited Availability customers will not be able to create, update, or delete records within the time window. Reading existing records will continue to function.
Affected products: Custom Resources
Expected behavior: Customers will be put into “maintenance mode” which will prevent create, update, and delete actions via the API. Customers will still be able to view existing records.
For example, requests with `POST`, `PUT`, `PATCH`, or `DELETE` will not complete. A JSON (`423 Locked`) response will be returned with a message "Read only mode has been enabled temporarily, you cannot send data to the service" instead.
Why we’re doing this: Zendesk is performing upgrades to the Custom Resources infrastructure and will be moving customers to new regional databases to increase reliability and performance.
