Setup of the Zendesk App Toolbox requires some API settings before you can get started. First, you should think which user will authenticate against Zendesk's API. Often, at pluscloud, we use API users or Service Accounts for such purposes so the actions taken by the Toolbox App can be clearly separated from actions by your agents.
- Enter the E-Mail address of the Administrator account that will perform API actions in Toolbox. It's recommended to use an account that is only used for automation, if available.
- Create a new API Token for the Zendesk API and add the new API Token to the Token field.
- Confirm to create a new webhook in your Zendesk account by selecting the Create webhook button.
