Where to see how much API capacity you are using, and what the shape of the graph tells you about which consumer is responsible.
Find it
- Open Admin Center, then Apps and integrations, then API analytics.
- Look at usage over time and against your limit.
Reading the shape
- Flat with a spike at the same time daily. A scheduled job. Easy to move or slow down.
- Rising steadily over months. Growth, or an integration doing more as your data grows. Worth understanding before it becomes urgent.
- Bursts during working hours. Apps in the agent workspace. Each agent's app makes calls, so this scales with your team.
- Sustained at the ceiling. Something is being refused, and probably retrying.
Check before you diagnose
When an integration behaves oddly, or agents report an app not loading, look here first. Rate limiting produces symptoms that look like a broken integration and are actually a busy neighbour.
Before adding an integration
A quick look at current usage tells you whether there is room. Adding a data warehouse sync to an account already near its limit will not go well, and knowing that in advance is cheaper than finding out.
