A signature appended to every agent reply, with placeholders so it carries the right name automatically.
Set it up
- Open Admin Center, then Workspaces, then Agent interface.
- Find Signature.
- Write the signature, using a placeholder for the agent's name.
- Save and send a test.
Use the placeholder
A signature with the agent's name filled in by placeholder means one signature for the whole team, and it stays right when people join or leave.
Where you use agent aliases, the alias appears instead of the real name, which is usually the point of having them.
Keep it short
A signature longer than the average reply looks absurd on a two-line answer, and on a phone it pushes the actual message off the screen. Name, role, company. Anything legal belongs in the template footer, not repeated on every message.
Agents can add their own
Agents can set a personal signature in their profile, which appends to the account one. Worth deciding whether you want that: it lets people add a personal touch, and it also lets somebody add three lines of quotation.
