How to tell what you are reading
If the instructions involve a canvas, nodes or connecting steps, they are about the old generation. If they are about describing situations and writing instructions, they are current.
You are not missing anything
The current approach does more with less to maintain. What took a twenty-node flow is now a paragraph, and it handles the phrasings nobody drew a branch for.
If you genuinely have a flow to maintain
Some accounts still run one. It keeps working; it will not gain anything new; and moving it is a rewrite rather than a conversion.
Where to start instead
Create an AI agent, point it at your knowledge, set the escalation, and write one procedure for your most common case. That is the equivalent of what a flow used to do, in about a tenth of the effort.
