Yes, and deleting one takes all its conversations with it. Export anything you still need first.

Before deleting

  1. Export the reporting you want to keep.
  2. Check no workspace depends on that connection for conversations.
  3. Tell the reviewers.
  4. Then delete.

What you lose

The conversations from that source, and the reviews attached to them. That means the quality history for whatever was reviewed there.

If anybody will ask how quality developed over the past year, export before rather than after.

Reconnecting is not undoing

Adding the same source again brings in new conversations. Reviews from before the deletion do not come back.

Why people delete one

Usually a system no longer in use, or a connection created twice during setup. Both are legitimate; both deserve the export step first.

Consider disabling instead

Where the option exists, stopping a connection from bringing in new conversations keeps the history and removes the clutter. That is usually what people actually want.

Check the workspaces

A workspace whose only source is that connection stops receiving conversations, and reviewers see an empty queue with no explanation. Tell them, or move them first.
