Reviews can be corrected. Correcting one openly is better than deleting it quietly.
Edit one
- Open the review.
- Change the scores or the comment.
- Say in the comment what you changed and why.
- Save.
When to edit
- You misread the conversation.
- An agent explained context you did not have.
- A dispute was upheld.
- You scored the wrong category.
Say that you changed it
An agent who saw the first version and finds a different one without explanation will assume the worst. One line saying what changed turns a correction into evidence that the process works.
Being corrected is normal
Reviewers misread conversations. A programme where reviews are never revised is not one where reviewers are always right; it is one where agents have stopped disputing.
Deleting
Possible, and it should be rare: a review of the wrong conversation, or of the wrong person. For an incorrect score, edit rather than delete, so the record shows what happened.
It affects the numbers
Editing or deleting changes the averages for that period. Small effect, and worth knowing if somebody is looking at a figure you just corrected.
Watch how often it happens
Frequent corrections on one reviewer's work points at calibration. Frequent corrections on one category points at the scorecard.
