Yes, from Account settings > Connections, and it is irreversible. Your review scores survive it, though. What you lose is the conversations behind them.
What exactly do I lose?
All help desk data for that connection goes: the conversations, fields and tags. What stays is the reviews data, still reachable from the Activity tab and the dashboard, only without a working link through to the conversation it was about.
So the quality history is not wiped. Your scores and trends remain readable; the evidence behind an individual score does not. That matters most for disputes and calibration, where somebody wants to reread the conversation rather than the score.
One connection cannot go
At least one native connection has to stay active at all times, so a tidy-up cannot leave the account with none.
Reconnecting is not undoing
Adding the same source again brings in new conversations. The ones deleted with the connection do not come back.
Should I disable it instead?
Usually, yes, and that is what most people want: the connection stops bringing in new conversations while the history stays whole and clickable.
It is not a switch you flip yourself. Marking a connection inactive is a request, so ask pluscloud support rather than reaching for delete because it is the visible option.
Before you delete anyway
- Export the reporting you want to keep.
- Check no workspace depends on that connection for its conversations. A workspace left without a source shows reviewers an empty queue and no explanation.
- Tell the reviewers, then delete.
