Important! Emergency services are available in a limited number of countries only!
You can get help with an emergency by calling the emergency services number 112. Emergency calls placed through Wildix Collaboration have limitations compared to calls placed through traditional landline or mobile services. The following countries are currently supported for calls to emergency services:
- The Netherlands
- Belgium
On request, calls to emergency services can be activated for the following countries:
- Germany
- France
For countries where there is no direct support for calling to emergency services, customers can choose to install a local and physical media gateway that will connect your landline to the Wildix Cloud.
If you plan to install physical phones in locations where no emergency calls are supported, we advise you to place a label on the phone to inform users about the limitations for calling emergency services.
In the event of a power outage, loss of your internet connection, or a service outage, emergency calling will not be available on Wildix Collaboration. Use an alternative phone service to dial emergency services instead. Any phone, including mobile phones without an account or service plan, can call emergency services and be connected to emergency responders.
Tips when calling emergency services
- Be prepared to confirm your current location and phone number with the operator as this information may not be available to them in all cases.
- Stay on the line – Do not hang up until instructed to do so by the operator. If you’re disconnected, call back.
