What we do for you
These screens are not part of any customer role, so you will not see them at all:
- Trunks and everything about how calls reach the outside world
- The dialplan itself, beyond call groups, IVR and timetables
- System settings, integrations, security and certificates
- Upgrades and system-level maintenance
- Device provisioning
- Building or changing your phone menu
- Restarting or powering off the system
- Uploading greetings and hold music
- Traces, backups and restores
- Changing what an ACL group is allowed to do
One edge on call groups. Managing a call group without full system access is a real permission, and it covers picking up and transferring calls waiting in the queue. Adding or removing dynamic members, the people who log in and out of a group rather than belonging to it permanently, used to be admin-only work. There is now a separate Manage Call Group permission that covers it. It is granted per call group rather than across the system: a role is nominated as manager of one particular group, so a team lead gets their own queue and nobody else's. Setting that up is ours, so tell us which group and which role.
