Set one up

1. Open the app shortcuts in Admin Center.
2. Add a shortcut for an app agents use constantly.
3. Share it with the right groups.
4. Tell them it exists.

Only for the apps used constantly

An app opened twenty times a day is worth a shortcut. One used weekly is not, and a long list of shortcuts is as hard to navigate as the app list was.

Shared beats individual

A shortcut set up once for a team means everybody has it, including people who join next month. Leaving each agent to configure their own means most never do.

Tell them, twice

Once when you add it, once a fortnight later. Shortcuts are the kind of improvement people forget exists until reminded, and then use daily.

Watch for collisions

A shortcut that conflicts with something agents already use is worse than none. Check against the built-in keyboard shortcuts before assigning one.

Keep it to a handful

Three or four. Beyond that people stop remembering which is which, and reach for the mouse anyway.

Review when apps change

A shortcut pointing at an uninstalled app is a dead key that quietly puzzles people. Remove it when you remove the app.
