Bulk administrative work from one place. Powerful, and it deserves the same caution as any bulk change.
Use it
- Install the app and restrict it to admins.
- Open it and find the task you need.
- Run it on a small selection first.
- Check the result before doing the rest.
What it helps with
Administrative jobs that are tedious one at a time: reviewing configuration across the account, bulk changes, finding things that are hard to see in the standard screens.
Test on a few first
Every bulk operation deserves this, and this app makes bulk operations easy, which is precisely why. A change applied to ten records is a minute to correct; the same change on ten thousand is a project.
There is no undo
Bulk changes are not reversible as a batch. Export the current state before anything substantial, so there is a way back.
Restrict it hard
Admins only, and preferably the two or three who administer the account. An app that makes sweeping changes easy should not be one click away for everybody with admin rights.
Note what you did
Bulk changes show in the audit log as many individual changes, which is hard to read afterwards. A line saying what you ran and why makes the next investigation short.
Do it outside busy hours
Large operations take time and add load. Nothing breaks, and there is no reason to run one while the queue is full.
