teams4Wildix lets people dial from the Teams Calls tab. It needs extra Microsoft licences, so check before you promise it.
Two ways to use Teams with Wildix
- A Wildix tab inside Teams. Collaboration 7 or x-bees runs in a tab, so people stay in Teams while calling through Wildix. Lighter to set up.
- The Teams Calls tab itself. The native dial pad places calls over Wildix. This is what needs MS-PhoneSystem and Microsoft licences on top.
The second is what most people mean by "calling from Teams", and it is the one with real prerequisites.
Check the Microsoft side first. Native Teams calling needs Microsoft Phone System licences that you buy from Microsoft, not from us. The second mode also requires CLASSOUND Pro. A project has stalled here more than once.
What is needed
- One MS-PhoneSystem subscription per system, which we arrange
- Microsoft Phone System licences for the users who will dial from Teams. These come from Microsoft and are charged separately from anything with us.
- A Microsoft 365 administrator to carry out the tenant configuration
- CLASSOUND Pro for the second mode
Getting it done
Setup spans your Microsoft tenant and your phone system, so it is not a self-service job. Send us a request and tell us how many people need to dial from Teams. We will confirm what to arrange with Microsoft before anything is ordered.
