The short answer

It usually follows the product you run:

• x-bees or x-hoppers comes with CLASSOUND as standard.
• Collaboration normally runs on our Multi Carrier Trunks, our own connection to several carriers at once.

Some systems have both, so this is a guide rather than a rule.

Why it matters

The route decides what is possible, so instructions that apply to one may not apply to the other:

• Messaging. SMS, MMS and WhatsApp run over CLASSOUND only, and per number rather than per system. On Multi Carrier Trunks they are not available at all.
• Numbers and porting. Which number types you can get, in which countries, and how long a port takes.
• Emergency calling. Registration obligations differ per route and per country.

How to find out

Ask us. We know which route your system uses and can tell you in a sentence. There is no self-service screen showing it, because trunks are managed on our side.

You can also check status.pluscloud.nl, where the services we run for you are listed by name.

Can I have both?

Yes, and some customers do: Multi Carrier Trunks for normal calling and CLASSOUND alongside it for messaging or international coverage. If you need something that only exists on one route, ask us rather than assuming you have to switch everything.
