Can an AI agent generate replies from videos

No. An AI agent answers from text, so anything explained only in a video is invisible to it.

What this means for your articles

An article whose content is a video and one line of introduction contains, as far as the AI agent is concerned, one line. It will not be used to answer anything.

The same is true of search engines, and of anybody who cannot watch a video at that moment.

The fix

Write the steps as text and keep the video alongside. Not a transcript, which reads badly, but the procedure written properly.

Readers who prefer watching still watch. Everybody else, including the AI agent and the search engine, gets the answer.

This is not a workaround

Text is the better primary form for a support instruction: it can be scanned, searched, copied, translated, and followed while doing the thing. Video is a good supplement and a poor sole source.

Where video genuinely wins

Showing a physical action, or something where seeing the interface move is the point. Even then, the steps belong in writing underneath.

What to check

Look at your most-watched video articles and ask whether the answer exists in the text. Those are usually popular subjects, which makes them exactly the ones an AI agent should be able to answer.
