Yes, through connected sources and the web crawler. Whether you should connect them is a separate question.

What is possible

  • A crawled website, such as your public documentation or product pages.
  • Connected systems, where a knowledge tool your company already uses is linked in.

Both make that content available to the AI agent as a source of answers.

What it cannot do

Search the open internet. It answers from sources you have deliberately connected, which is the property that makes it usable at all.

The question to settle first

Would you be comfortable with the AI agent quoting that content to a customer? Because that is what connecting it means.

Marketing pages promise things support cannot deliver. Old blog posts describe the product as it was. Both look authoritative once they are in the answer.

Scope narrowly

Point the crawler at the documentation path, not the whole site. That single decision determines whether this helps or produces confident answers from a page written for a different purpose.

Your articles compete with it

Every external source is another candidate answer. If your own articles start losing to external pages, either narrow the source or improve the article.

The usual better answer

Where content is good enough for an AI agent to quote, it is usually worth having as an article: findable, translatable, and maintained alongside everything else.
