Owning a feature and having it switched on are two different states. This is where you find the gap.

Review them

  1. Open Admin Center, then Account, then Features.
  2. Go through what is available on your plan.
  3. Note what is off that you are paying for.
  4. Turn on what you will actually use.

The common surprise

A team upgrades a plan or buys an add-on, and months later the features are still off because switching them on was never anybody's task.

Intelligent triage is the usual example: it arrives with Copilot, needs no content preparation, and sits unused.

Do this after every plan change

An upgrade unlocks things; it does not configure them. Half an hour in this list after a change is the difference between paying for a plan and using it.

Do not switch everything on

Each feature adds interface, settings and things that can behave unexpectedly. Turn on what somebody will use this month; leave the rest until there is a reason.

Some changes are visible immediately

Agents will see new panels and options without warning. Anything that changes their screen deserves a message first, or you get tickets about your own configuration.

Note what you turned off and why

A feature disabled for a good reason looks like an oversight a year later, and somebody will helpfully switch it back on.
