Building the macro that sets the date: one action, one tag, and the agent never has to think about it again.
Create it
- In Admin Center, open Workspaces, then Agent tools, then Macros.
- Add a macro and name it for what the agent wants, such as "Follow up tomorrow".
- Add an action, choose Add tags, and enter the date tag you need, for example due_at_plus_1d.
- Save it and reload your browser.
- Open a ticket and apply the macro to check the date lands.
Name it for the outcome
The agent picks from a list of macro names, so "Follow up tomorrow" belongs there and due_at_plus_1d does not. The tag is your business; the name is theirs.
Reload after saving
Not optional the first time. The agent interface caches macros, and without a reload the new one is not there yet, which looks like the app failing when it is the macro missing.
Test before you share it
Apply it to a real ticket and look at the field. A tag with a typo does nothing at all: no error, no date, just a tag sitting on the ticket.
That silence is the usual reason someone reports that the app is broken.
Keep the list short
Tomorrow, next week, in a month covers most of what people need. A macro for every interval produces a list nobody reads to the bottom of.
