Audio that works in one direction only is a network problem, not a headset problem, and it needs someone with access to the firewall.
What is happening
You can hear the caller but they cannot hear you, or the other way round. The call itself connected fine, so the signalling got through; it is the audio that is being blocked in one direction.
This has a name, one-way audio, and it almost always sits in the network rather than in your headset or your settings.
Why your headset is probably not the cause
A headset fault takes out both directions or produces obvious noise. Clean audio one way and silence the other means the sound is being made and simply not arriving.
Still, rule out the cheap check first: confirm the right microphone is selected, because a muted or wrong input looks identical from your side.
What actually fixes it
A firewall or router is blocking the media traffic in one direction. That is a change only your network administrator can make, and it is worth doing properly rather than by trial.
open a ticket and tell us when it happens, whether it is every call or only external ones, and whether colleagues on the same network have it too. Those three answers usually locate it.
