Calls that are received in Wildix Collaboration are marked by the system with Call Classes that represent the type of the call. The assigned Call Classes can be used in the Features of the account to create a personalized experience for different types of calls, in different types of Presence statuses. The system has four build-in Call Classes that the system uses to assign to calls:
- Internal
Assigned to all calls that are originating from other Wildix Collaboration users on your system. - External
Assigned to all calls that are originating outside from your system. - Blacklist
Assigned only to specific calls based on phone book listings or dialplan configurations. Mostly used to block or ignore specific calls. - Whitelist
Assigned only to specific calls based on phonebook listings or dialplan configurations. Mostly used to let specific calls through on special occasions, for an example a door intercom that needs to ring when a user is on Away or specific priority calls from a manager or assistant when a user is on DND.
When a specific Presence state in a Call Class is not activated the system will first fallback to the Internal Call Class with this specific Presence state. When the Presence state in the internal Call Class is also not activated it will fallback to the online state.
