In some situations it can be preferred to use the Mobility Extension instead of the Wildix Mobile Apps. Mobility Extension uses the cellular network and setups an additional outbound call to your mobile phone to connect you with the incoming call. As all Features Mobility Extension can be setup for each Call Class and Presence state individually. All calls are setup to the mobile number that is setup in your account.
Wildix Mobility Extension will create an outbound call to reach your mobile phone via the cellular network. The costs are not included in your account and will be billed according to the regular outbound call rates.
The feature Enable mobility with timeout will allow you to setup a timeout to prevent your account to right away call your mobile phone via cellular. Possibly, you want to setup a mobility option after 15 seconds when you are set to Available and disable the delay (set to 0) when your account is set to Away so your mobile phone is called right away when a new call arrives. The number that is entered next to the switch will be used as the number of seconds before the mobility call is setup. If you want to setup a mobility call directly, set the number of seconds to 0 (zero). The feature Mobility confirmation will allow you to first approve the call before the call is connected. This will also prevent your personal voicemail on your mobile phone to answer the mobility call.
When your cellular connection allows the proper use of the Wildix Mobile Apps, we recommend the use of the Mobile Apps.
