We're proud to announce the update of Wildix Collaboration to WMS 5! In the past months our team worked closely with Wildix to bring you this major release. This update is focussed on an improved scalability and security, better user experience and extended API functionality.

Improved user interface for Collaboration and Mobile Apps
WMS 5 introduces a fully refreshed design and improved user experience that will delight your users. The new experience is designed to feel familiar for current users while offering a better user interface. The refreshed design is a start of multiple changes that are coming, like a dark mode design option.
Just like Collaboration, also the Mobile Apps on iOS and Android will be updated soon. The fully rewritten Mobile Apps offer a new design and improved experience. Wildix is also bringing WebRTC to the Mobile App for better performance and peer-to-peer communication. The Mobile App is scheduled to be release later this year.
Brand new Video Conferencing features in Wizyconf
For all users that are using Business or Premium subscription, a list of brand-new features is being release in Wizyconf. In the ever-changing times of the past months when teams are primarily working from home, video conferencing solutions are more important than ever. New features in Wizyconf include:
- Raise your hand
- Mute / unmute all participants
- Started muted as a participant
- Send private messages during meetings
- Tiles view that can view up to 9 video streams
- Usage statistics
- PIN code protected meeting rooms

Better scalability and security
Because of the WMS network, Wildix already supported thousands of users on the single tenant systems. With WMS 5, the scalability is improved and promises systems can now connect up to 100.000 users in a WMS network.
Starting in WMS 5, devices that do not correspond with modern security standards can optionally be blocked. Starting next year, in WMS 6, all legacy devices that do not correspond with modern security standards will be blocked.
Integrations and API's
As key technology partners of Wildix, pluscloud worked closely with Wildix to bring even more API and integration options to Wildix Collaboration. Many new API endpoints are being released that will bring integrations closer to Wildix than ever before.

Business applications such as Wildix Collaboration are being extended in functionality every week.
