Sign in to a Wildix desk phone

Plan requirement

Subscription UC-Basic or higher, x-bees Device or higher

Sign in with your extension and password to make a phone yours, and sign out so the next person gets their own calls.

  1. On the phone, open the login option.
  2. Enter your extension.
  3. Enter your password, the same one you use for Collaboration 7 or x-bees.
  4. Confirm.

The phone now shows your name and rings for your extension. Your function keys and speed dials follow you.

Hot desking

If people share desks, signing in and out is how calls follow the person rather than the furniture. Sign out at the end of a shift, or the next person gets your calls and you get none.

A phone showing someone else's name is almost always a colleague who forgot to sign out. Sign out and sign in as yourself rather than reporting a fault.

If sign-in fails

  • Wrong password. It is your account password, not a PIN. Voicemail uses a separate PIN, which is a common mix-up.
  • Extension not known. Check the number with whoever manages users.
  • Phone shows nothing at all. Check the network cable and that the phone has power. If it is powered over the network cable, a knocked cable takes both away at once.

Phones nobody signs into

A phone in a meeting room or warehouse can be permanently assigned rather than signed into. That is set up on our side, so tell us if you want one to stay put.
