Look at the label on the back. The model name tells you which generation you have, which instructions apply, and whether the phone survives the move to WMS 7.
Which Wildix desk phone do I have?
Two generations
Menus and firmware differ per generation, and the giveaway is the 5 in the name: a WorkForce 5 is current, a WorkForce is the earlier model.
- Start 5. Entry level, meant for corridors, lobbies and common areas rather than a person's desk.
- WorkForce 5. The everyday phone for most desks.
- ForcePro 5. For customer-facing roles that are on the phone all day, with more keys.
- WelcomeConsole 5. Reception. For transferring quickly and watching many colleagues at once.
- SuperVision 5. Android touchscreen with video, for executives and meeting rooms.
- Wi-One. Not a desk phone: a portable Wi-Fi handset for shops, warehouses and hotels.
If yours is not on that list
Then it is an earlier model, and end of life means more than no new ones.
Several older phones stop working on WMS 7. That version drops the option to allow TLS 1.0 and 1.1, and the devices that only speak those cannot connect afterwards. It affects the WP400, the WP500, the WP600 family and the first revisions of the WP410, WP480 and WP490; later revisions of those three are fine. Auto-upgrades to WMS 7 cannot be declined, so this arrives on a date rather than on a decision. Ask us to check what you have before it does.
The dates are now set. From 5 October 2026 the upgrade starts becoming available, and a monthly automatic round covers every country from 28 October. Which date applies to your system follows from how our partnership is registered rather than from where the system stands, so it is not something you can work out from your own address. Ask us, and ask before October rather than after.

Worth checking before you order: a Vision is replaced by a ForcePro 5, not by a SuperVision 5.
Where do I look?
The model name is on the label underneath, beside the MAC address. We need that MAC address if you report a fault with a specific handset.
Ordering more
Phones are ordered through us rather than configured by you. Tell us how many and for which roles, and we deliver them pre-configured so they work when plugged in. Hardware is a paid addition, and we confirm what it means for your agreement first.
