Set up the Google Workspace integration

Access WMS administrator, Google Workspace administrator

Connect Google Workspace for calendar, contacts and single sign-on, then have each person link their own calendar.

What you get

  • Calendar. Real availability for the meeting scheduler, and an Add x-bees meeting button when creating an event.
  • Contacts. Google contacts in search, and names on incoming calls.
  • Single sign-on. Sign in with your Google account rather than a separate password.

Set it up

  1. In WMS, go to Settings > PBX > Integrations > Cloud integrations.
  2. Open the Google Workspace integration.
  3. Sign in with an account that has Workspace administrator rights and grant the permissions requested.

Then each person connects their calendar

The system-level connection does not link individual calendars. Each user authorises their own once, from their settings. Skip this and the scheduler will show no availability for that person, which looks like a fault but is not.

If your Workspace restricts third-party app access, an administrator has to allow the Wildix app before anyone can connect. That restriction is set on the Google side, and it fails silently from the user's point of view.

Calendar accuracy matters

The scheduler offers whatever your calendar says is free. Keep focus time and travel in your diary or customers will book over it.
