Connect your Google Calendar

Plan requirement

Subscription x-bees Standard or higher, UC-Business or higher (Collaboration 7)

Link your own Google Calendar so the meeting scheduler works from your real availability, not from an empty diary.

Connect it

  1. Open Settings from your profile.
  2. Go to the calendar section and choose Google.
  3. Sign in and approve the access requested.

This is per person. Your administrator connecting Google Workspace for the company does not link your calendar, and this is the step almost everyone skips.

What changes

  • Your contact-me link can offer real times
  • An Add meeting button appears when you create an event
  • Meetings land in both calendars with the joining link included
  • Colleagues can see you are in a meeting rather than merely not answering

Your diary becomes bookable

Anything Google says is free can be booked by a customer. Focus time, travel and lunch have to be in the calendar as busy, or someone will book straight over them.

Connect the calendar you actually use. Linking a secondary one you rarely update produces confident, wrong availability, which is worse than offering none.

If approval fails

Some Google Workspace setups restrict third-party app access. An administrator has to allow the Wildix app before anyone can connect, and until they do it fails without a useful message. If several colleagues hit the same wall, that is why.

If the option is missing

Calendar connection starts at x-bees Standard. On x-bees Basic the section is not there.
