See what carries a tag
- Click a content tag on any article or post, or open the tag list.
- The page shows everything carrying it, articles and community posts together.
- Filter or search within it.
Read it as a reader would
This page is a destination, not an admin screen. Open the tag for your most important subject and ask whether somebody landing here would find it coherent.
Usually two things stand out: an article that plainly belongs and is not there, and one that is there and does not belong.
Use it before writing something new
Checking the tag for a subject is the quickest way to find out whether the article already exists under a title you would not have searched for.
What an empty tag means
Nothing carries it any more. Usually the last article was deleted or retagged. Remove it, because an empty grouping is a dead end for anybody who follows it.
Community posts appear here too
Which is often the point: the tag shows both what you have documented and what customers are still discussing. A tag with lively posts and no article names the article to write next.
