Use the AI Assistant

The AI Assistant summarises what was said, drafts follow-ups and answers questions about a conversation you were part of.

What it is good at

  • Catching up. A summary of a long thread or a call you missed, without reading everything.
  • Finding the detail. What figure was quoted, what date was agreed, what the objection was.
  • Drafting the follow-up from what was actually discussed rather than from memory.

Using it

Open the conversation and ask. Questions about that conversation work best, because that is the material it has. Broad questions about your business are not what it is for.

It needs a transcript

The assistant works from text. A call that was never transcribed leaves it nothing to summarise, which is the usual reason it seems to know nothing about a conversation you definitely had.

Read what it produces before you send it. Summaries are convincing and occasionally wrong, particularly with numbers, dates and names. A misheard number in a quotation is your problem, not the assistant's.

The included hours are shared

Transcription, summaries and voice agents draw on the same pool of AI units at company level. Heavy use by one team affects everyone.

Telling people

If conversations with customers are being transcribed and summarised, say so. In most countries that is a legal requirement rather than good manners, and the obligation sits with you.
