Collaboration 7 is your phone, chat and meetings in one browser tab. Sign in from your invitation email and you are ready to work.
You start from an email. Your administrator sends an invitation from WMS, and the link in it takes you to Collaboration 7 and connects you to the right phone system automatically, so there is no address to type and no system to pick.
From there you sign in with your email address, or with Google or Microsoft single sign-on if your organisation uses one. Not with your extension: that number identifies your phone, not your account, and trying it is the usual reason a first sign-in fails.
No invitation? Ask whoever manages your phone system to send one, or ask us.
What you will find
- Dialpad. Call anyone by number, extension or name.
- Colleagues. Who is available, who is on the phone, who is away.
- Chat. Message colleagues without picking up the phone.
- History. Every call you made, took or missed.
- Voicemail. Messages left for you, playable in the browser.
- Settings. Your details, audio devices, Favorites and forwarding rules.
Set your audio before your first call
Click your profile and open Settings, then check that the right microphone and speaker are selected. Browsers pick a default that is often wrong, and the first thing anyone notices is bad audio.
Your browser will also ask permission to use the microphone. Without it you can receive calls but nobody will hear you.
Set your presence
Your status tells colleagues whether to call you. Setting it to busy stops your phone ringing, so the silence is the setting and not a fault. The same state is called DND on a desk phone.
On your phone as well
The Collaboration 7 mobile app puts the same thing on Android and iOS, so calls to your extension reach you away from your desk.
