Use Salesforce in x-bees

Plan requirement

Subscription x-bees Standard or higher

Work leads and opportunities alongside the conversation, and let call logging happen without anyone writing it up.

Finding people

Salesforce leads appear in search alongside your colleagues and phonebooks. You look someone up once rather than deciding first which system they are in.

The Salesforce tab

Open a conversation with a matched lead and their Salesforce record sits next to it. From there you can:

  • Open the lead in Salesforce
  • Correct the match if the wrong record was linked
  • Log a call, email or meeting
  • Create and complete tasks
  • Work opportunities: stage, notes, summary

Automatic logging

Calls and conferences with a matched lead are logged without you doing anything: participants, duration, timestamps, transfers.

Not logged: calls from unknown numbers, calls cancelled within five seconds, and internal calls between colleagues.

Creating a lead mid-call

Someone calls who is not in Salesforce yet? Create the lead from the conversation. That is the difference between capturing a lead and meaning to.

Log the outcome in the window that appears when a call ends. Ten seconds there beats reconstructing the conversation on Friday afternoon, and the notes are better because you still remember.

When the wrong lead is linked

Change the match from the tab. New activity follows the corrected match; activity already logged stays where it was.

If nothing is logged for one person

Check their License type in WMS. CRM integrations need x-bees Standard or higher, and a rep on x-bees Basic can call all day while nothing reaches Salesforce.
