Activate CLASSOUND on your PBX

Plan requirement

Subscription CLASSOUND Core or CLASSOUND Pro

What CLASSOUND needs before it can go live on your system, what we handle for you, and why the company profile is usually what holds it up.

You may already have it

CLASSOUND comes as standard with x-bees and x-hoppers. If you run either, it is almost certainly already there and you do not need to activate anything.

On Collaboration you are more likely to be on our Multi Carrier Trunks. Ask us if you are not sure which you have.

What we need from you

Activation is ours to carry out. What determines how fast it goes is what you send us, and in one go rather than four.

  1. Gather your company details for the profile approval. This is a legitimacy check and it has to clear before any number can be issued.
  2. Decide which countries you need numbers in.
  3. Decide what you want to do with it: calling only, or messaging as well.
  4. List existing numbers you want to port, if any.
  5. Send us all four together.

The company profile is the usual delay. It has to be approved before any number can be issued or ported, and incomplete details stall the whole request at the start. Send everything at once rather than in pieces.

Core or Pro

Which level you need depends on what you are doing. Tell us the use case rather than picking a level, and we will say which fits. Four things sit on the Pro side and they are the usual reason to move:

  • teams4Wildix. Microsoft Teams integration runs on Pro, in either of its modes. Core is not enough for it in any configuration.
  • Integrations Hub. The ready-made connections to CRM and ERP systems.
  • Two-way SMS. Core sends outbound messages only, so a reply has nowhere to land. Pro carries the conversation both ways.
  • Extended CNAM. Your company name shown alongside the number on calls you place, in the United States and Germany.

The two do not stack. Pro replaces Core rather than adding to it, so this is a switch and not an extra.

What it costs you

CLASSOUND is a paid service. We confirm what it adds to your agreement before switching anything on.

After activation

Numbers and messaging are enabled per number rather than system-wide. Having CLASSOUND does not mean every number can send messages; that is a separate step per number.

WhatsApp and RCS are a different matter again. They are not part of either CLASSOUND level: they come with x-bees and x-hoppers, so upgrading to Pro to get them would not work.
