Collaboration 7 is your phone, chat and meetings in one browser tab. Sign in with your extension and you are ready to work.
Sign in
Open your company's Collaboration address in a browser and sign in with your extension and password. If you do not know your extension, a colleague who manages the phone system can look it up, or ask us.
What you will find
- Dialpad. Call anyone by number, extension or name.
- Colleagues. Who is available, who is on the phone, who is away.
- Chat. Message colleagues without picking up the phone.
- History. Every call you made, took or missed.
- Voicemail. Messages left for you, playable in the browser.
- Settings. Your details, audio devices, function keys and forwarding rules.
Set your audio before your first call
Click your profile and open Settings, then check that the right microphone and speaker are selected. Browsers pick a default that is often wrong, and the first thing anyone notices is bad audio.
Your browser will also ask permission to use the microphone. Without it you can receive calls but nobody will hear you.
Set your presence
Your status tells colleagues whether to call you. Setting it to Do Not Disturb stops your phone ringing, which is worth knowing before you wonder why it went quiet.
On your phone as well
The Collaboration 7 mobile app puts the same thing on Android and iOS, so calls to your extension reach you away from your desk.
