Connect Zoho CRM or Zoho Bigin so incoming calls show a name and get logged against the right record.
Which Zoho you have
- Zoho CRM is the full product.
- Zoho Bigin is the lighter one for smaller teams.
Both connect, and the setup is similar. Check which you have before starting, because the authorisation screens differ.
What you get
Contact lookup and call logging. An incoming number matched to a Zoho record arrives with a name attached, and the call is recorded against that record.
This is the lighter tier of integration. HubSpot and Salesforce go deeper, with tasks, activity history and contact data inside the interface. If you were expecting that, set expectations before rolling it out.
Set it up
- In WMS, go to Settings > PBX > Integrations > Cloud integrations.
- Open the Zoho integration and connect your account.
- Authorise it in Zoho when prompted.
- Test with a call from a number that exists on a Zoho record.
Number format decides whether this works. If Zoho stores numbers locally and calls arrive in international format, nothing matches and the integration looks dead. Clean up the formats before connecting, not after people have given up on it.
When names do not appear
- Check the user's plan. Integrations start at x-bees Standard.
- Check the number format on the record.
- Check the caller is not withholding their number.
