Call from the dialpad, from a conversation or with one click on a web page, and move a call between your devices.
Three ways to start a call
- The dialpad. Type a name, extension or number. Search covers colleagues, your phonebooks and, if a CRM is connected, your CRM contacts.
- From a conversation. Call the person you are already messaging, without looking them up again.
- From a web page. The Chrome extension turns phone numbers on any page into clickable links.
Choose which number you call from
If your company has more than one outbound number, pick the caller ID in the dialpad before you dial. The choice applies everywhere, including your desk phone, so check it if a customer says they saw an unexpected number.
Move a call to another device
Answer on your laptop and continue on your mobile, or the other way round, without hanging up. Useful when you need to leave your desk mid-conversation.
Concurrent calls
How many calls you can have at once depends on your plan: two on x-bees Device, four on Basic, eight on Standard and SuperBee.
After the call
When a call ends you get a window to carry on: log the outcome, create a task, or schedule a follow-up. Doing it there takes seconds; doing it later usually means not at all.
No sound, or nobody can hear you? Check the microphone permission in your browser first. x-bees runs in Chrome, and a blocked microphone looks exactly like a broken call.
