Which x-bees plan do I need?

Plan requirement

Subscription Any plan
Access WMS administrator

Compare the four x-bees subscription plans feature by feature, so you can pick the right one per user instead of over-licensing the whole company.

The short answer

  • x-bees Device for the phone in the warehouse that nobody logs into
  • x-bees Basic for finance, HR and engineering, who never speak to a customer
  • x-bees Standard for sales and support, or anyone who needs HubSpot or Salesforce
  • x-bees SuperBee for team leads and managers who need dashboards and Revenue Intelligence

Most organisations end up with a mix. Plans can be mixed freely on one PBX, and you can move a user up or down at any time.

Feature comparison

Guests are external people invited into a conversation. They do not consume a subscription.

The smallest plan that fits is not always the cheapest outcome. Licences come in volume tiers, so putting more people on the same plan can work out better than splitting them across three types. Which combination suits you depends on your numbers, and it changes as you grow. Tell us who needs what and we will work it out with you. Helping you land on the right mix is part of what we do, so ask rather than guess.

The three decisions that trip people up

CRM integration is the Standard boundary

This is the single most common licensing mistake. HubSpot, Salesforce and every other CRM integration start at x-bees Standard. A sales rep on x-bees Basic can call and chat perfectly well, but nothing lands in the CRM. If calls are not being logged, check the plan before you touch the integration settings.

All messaging needs CLASSOUND, per number

SMS, MMS and the WhatsApp integration run over CLASSOUND, not over Multi Carrier Trunks. If you run x-bees, CLASSOUND normally comes as standard, so this is usually already in place.

What is not automatic is the number. Messaging works on numbers that run over CLASSOUND, and WhatsApp has to be enabled on the specific number as a setup step. Having CLASSOUND does not mean every number can send.

The plan grants access. The number and its setup decide whether anything actually sends.

AI hours are pooled across the company, not per user

Transcription, summaries and AI voice agents draw on a pool of AI units at company level, not per user. Go over it and extra capacity is added automatically so nothing stops working, and that extra capacity is chargeable. Worth watching if you plan to transcribe everything.

Live Dashboard has a second requirement. x-bees SuperBee unlocks the Live Dashboard, but the Services tab needs a separate x-caracal subscription on top.

Changing a plan: what you do, and what we do

You do this yourself

  1. In WMS, go to Users.
  2. Edit the user.
  3. Set the License type field to the plan you want.

This assigns a licence you already have.

We do this for you

Changing which licences your PBX has, or how many of each, is something we arrange.

Need a plan you do not have yet? Send us a request and we will sort it out.
