Ordering desk phones and headsets from our shop, and what happens between the order and a working phone.
Where to order
Hardware goes through shop.pluscloud.nl. Desk phones, DECT handsets, headsets and the accessories that go with them.
It arrives ready to use
Devices bought from us are provisioned for your system before they are shipped. Plug one into the network and it finds your PBX, picks up its configuration and is ready for someone to sign in.
That is the practical reason to buy hardware here rather than from a general supplier. The same model bought elsewhere is a device you have to configure yourself, and a Wildix system will not simply adopt it.
After you order
- You get a confirmation with what is coming and when.
- The device is provisioned for your system.
- It ships, and the confirmation carries the tracking.
- You connect it and sign a user in, or ask us to assign it to someone remotely.
Who signs in on it
A provisioned phone is ready for your system but not yet for a person. Either the user signs in on the device, or an administrator assigns it to them, after which their name appears on the screen without anyone touching the phone.
For a new starter, the second is usually easier: the phone is on their desk and works when they arrive.
Order the power supply with it
Several models take power over the network cable and have no adapter in the box. Where your switch does not supply power, that is a separate item, and it is the thing people discover at the desk rather than at the checkout.
