Answer the door from your phone, see who is there before you open, and release the lock without walking to reception.
How it works
A door station is treated as a caller. Someone presses the button, your phone rings, and you answer as you would any call. With a video door station you see the picture before deciding, and a button on the phone releases the lock.
Because it is a normal call, everything else follows: it can ring a call group, follow your timetable so evenings go elsewhere, or reach your mobile when nobody is in the building.
Supported door stations
Wildix works with door stations from several manufacturers, including 2N, Behnke, CyberData, Mobotix, Viking, AlphaTech and Algo. If you already have one, there is a reasonable chance it can be connected.
Video before answer
On supported models the picture appears before you accept the call, so you can look before you speak. Worth having on a delivery entrance or a back door.
Who does what
We do not pull cables. The wiring and the lock circuit are electrical work at your building, and we assume that is already in place or arranged with your own electrician.
What we do is supply the hardware and configure it: getting the station onto the phone system, the routing, and the door release. Plugging the unit in once the cabling is there is simple enough that either of us can do it.
Tell us which door station you have, or that you want one, and we will confirm what is possible and what your electrician needs to prepare.
What you can decide yourself
Once it is connected, the routing is yours: which phones ring, in what order, and what happens outside opening hours. That is a call group and a timetable like any other.
