Storage grows quietly, mostly from attachments. Where to see it and what to do before it becomes a bill.
Check it
- Open Admin Center, then Account, then Usage, then Storage.
- Look at storage used against what your plan includes.
- Compare with a few months ago.
- Note the trend rather than the number.
It is nearly always attachments
Ticket text is small; screenshots, photographs and videos are not. A channel or a form that invites file uploads accounts for most growth in most accounts.
Find the source before acting
One form, one integration, or one customer sending video is usually responsible. That is a specific fix, and it is much better than a general cleanup that has to be repeated.
Ask for what you need
On forms that collect files, say what you want: a photo of the label, not a video of the whole device. Most oversized attachments are people being helpful without guidance.
Deletion is not the first answer
Old tickets are your history, and they are what makes reporting and knowledge work possible. Before deleting anything, be sure what you need it for and what your retention obligations are.
Watch the trend
A steady climb is normal and predictable. A step change means something new started, usually an integration, and finding it early is easier than explaining a bill later.
If you are approaching the limit
Contact pluscloud support before it becomes urgent. There are usually options, and they are easier to arrange in advance.
