Suspension stops your support operation, not just your admin work. Three things prevent nearly all of it.
What suspension means
Agents cannot work, customers cannot reach you, and email keeps arriving into a system nobody can open. It is not a warning state; it is an outage you caused.
One: a payment that did not go through
An expired card, a changed bank detail, an invoice sent to somebody who left. This is the most common cause by a wide margin, and every part of it is preventable.
Send billing to a shared mailbox and check the payment method is current.
Two: nobody reading the warnings
Warnings go to the account owner. Where the owner is somebody who has left or does not read those messages, the warnings arrive and nothing happens.
Check who the owner is and whether they are actually reading account email.
Three: a renewal nobody diarised
A term ending with no decision taken. Put the renewal date in a shared calendar with a reminder a month ahead, so the conversation happens with time to spare.
What to do if it happens
Contact pluscloud support immediately. Do not attempt a workaround; getting the account restored is the fastest route back and every hour matters when customers cannot reach you.
The five-minute prevention
Confirm the account owner is a current employee, the billing address is a shared mailbox, the payment method is valid, and the renewal date is in a calendar. That is the whole of it.
