No. Guests are external people invited into a conversation or a meeting, and they consume no subscription at all.
What a guest is
Someone outside your phone system: a customer, a supplier, a candidate. They join in a browser without installing anything or creating an account.
What they can do
Chat, take part in video conferences, add other people to the same conversation, and return later to threads they were part of. They verify an email address once, which is what keeps the conversation alive between visits.
What they cannot see
Only the conversations they were invited to. Your internal channels, your colleagues list and your call history stay invisible.
The licence that does matter
The guest needs nothing. The person inviting them needs x-bees Standard or higher, or UC-Business or higher on Collaboration 7. That is usually why someone cannot invite a customer.
