Can I retrieve data from a cancelled account

Only within a limited period, and often not at all. Which is why the export has to happen before the cancellation, not after.

The honest answer

Data is retained for a period after cancellation and then removed. Within that window recovery may be possible; afterwards it is not.

The window is shorter than most people assume, and nobody reminds you it is running.

If you are in that period

Contact pluscloud support immediately, with the subdomain and what you need. Do not wait to gather requirements first; ask now and refine afterwards.

If it has passed

The data is gone. There is no archive to appeal to, and that is by design: deletion after cancellation is what customers are entitled to expect.

What to do instead of hoping

Before any cancellation, export tickets, users, organisations, and your help centre content and theme. That is the entire preventive measure, and it takes an afternoon.

Why this comes up

Usually a cancellation nobody in the team knew was happening: a procurement decision, a merger, or an unpaid invoice that escalated. The person who needed the data was not in that conversation.

If a cancellation is even being discussed, export now. An unnecessary export costs an afternoon; a missing one cannot be fixed.

Keep the exports somewhere findable

A file on a laptop belonging to somebody who has also left is not much better than no export at all.
