Not really. Guide is built on Support, and the reasons behind the question usually have better answers.
Why they are connected
The help centre uses Support's users, permissions and request forms. An article restricted to signed-in customers relies on Support's user records; a contact form creates a Support ticket.
Take Support away and most of what makes a help centre useful goes with it.
The reasons people ask
"We only want documentation." Then you want a documentation site, and there are tools built for exactly that. Zendesk is not the cheapest way to publish articles.
"We do not want a ticket system." You can run a help centre with the contact form switched off. Support exists underneath and nobody has to use it.
"We want to pay less." Worth a conversation about the plan rather than about removing a product.
Where the combination earns its keep
When the same team writes the articles and answers the tickets. Then the tickets tell you what to document, agents link articles into replies, and the reporting connects the two.
That loop is the actual argument for having both, and it is worth more than either alone.
If documentation is genuinely all you need
Say so and we will tell you honestly. Contact pluscloud support; recommending Zendesk where it does not fit helps nobody.
