Presentation mode shows the live test of your AI agent without the dashboard around it, on a blank page, in front of your website or on an image.
Start a presentation
- Open the preview and pick the channel you want to show. See Choosing the channel to preview.
- Click Presentation mode in the toolbar.
- Under Background, choose Blank page, Website or Image. A website or an image needs a few more settings, described in Showing your website or an image behind the preview.
- Choose what your audience sees, with the options below.
- Click Start presentation, or Full screen to fill the whole screen.
The extension remembers these choices for the next presentation.
During the presentation
- The test carries on. You type and click in the preview as in any test, and the AI agent answers.
- The Web Widget sits where it would on a website. Phones, email and Slack are centred on the screen.
- The toolbar and the inspector are hidden. A small bar reads Presentation mode with the hint to press Esc, and an Exit button; it fades after a few seconds.
- Press Esc or click Exit to stop. Full screen ends at the same time.
What your audience sees
- Hide test tools while presenting removes the buttons next to messages.
- Show a "preview" warning bar adds a bar at the top of the screen. Its standard text says the AI agent is not live yet and that conversations are for demonstration only. You can write your own text under Warning text.
- The line Powered by pluscloud · Zendesk Premier Partner is always shown at the bottom of the screen, over the website or image, in the corner away from the Web Widget. It links to pluscloud.nl.
A blank page
With Blank page, the preview stands on an empty background. It needs no permission and loads nothing from outside your Zendesk account, which makes it the quickest choice for a demonstration of the conversation itself.
Before you present
- Restart the conversation, so the audience sees it from the welcome reply. See Testing tools in the preview.
- Check the session parameters of the test. Their values can appear in the conversation, for example a customer's name.
- If the test shows messages marked as not delivered, the audience sees those notes too. Turn off Simulate channel limits in the preview settings if you do not want that.
